What in the heck? I thought Eupatorium purpeum were pretty much pest resistant (I guess no plant is). Instead of blooms, I got this lovely infestation of yellow clusters of pest. Now, some of them are moving around. I'm an Organic Gardener. Should I just cut the Joe Pye Weed down and get rid of it? I can cut my losses.
Aphids. A soapy water spray will take care of them. You'll probably have to spray a few times over the course of a few weeks.
