Can anyone help me identify this? I live in Northern Colorado and I'm seeing it everywhere (but of course, landscapers never put up little plaques identifying what they've put in the garden bed). I know the yellow flowers in the background of these pictures are yarrow, but I'm not sure what the pink flowers are. I've included a close-up of a bloom, and a shot of some of the foliage as well.
I bet it's something simple that I'm just not remembering, but I'd appreciate any help y'all can give me.
Thank you! And I apologize that the photos are sideways.
Flower Identification
It's Jupiter's Beard, I think. Kept digging (yay research) and I'm pretty sure it's Red Valerian (Jupiter's beard). Apparently it grows very well here in the Front Range. Curiosity officially assuaged. :)
I am glad you found out what it is. I did not recognize it when I looked yesterday even though I had this a little while ago. It was not yet in bloom. The nurseryman told me it was native... came home and found it wasn't. :( I gave it to someone else. If you grow this, it doesn't look like it has naturalized in Colorado, so hopefully well behaved. :) It is supposed to attract adult butterflies.
Oh, for plant identifications, there is more activity in this forum:

Thank you Chillybean!
