Is there such a thing as a blue bleeding heart? Not the Corydalis elata, but the traditionally pink or white heart-shaped ones in blue (also shown as existing in purple and yellow in the Amazon listings at this link: http://www.amazon.com/s?rh=n:3749091,p_n_feature_three_browse-bin:3750971 ).
Thanks for any info!
Blue Bleeding Heart?
Re. Bleeding heart, Dicentra spectabilis in blue, black and yellow (and even orange, if you do some Googling), someone's been busy with Photoshop.
There is a red flowered cv. called 'Valentine', as well as the usual pink, and the less common white.
Dicentra scandens has yellow flowers but that's a very different species.
In case I wasn't clear, selling what are supposedly blue-, black-, yellow- and orange-flowered Dicentra spectabilis is out-and-out fraud.
