Morning Glories 2016 #07

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Debra, my mil plant is very old. i have mis-treated it for yrs, leaving it potbound in the same pot. That's why its blooming, stressed, thinking it was going to die.so'
it decided to make blooms in order to set seeds. I bet this plant was over 15 yrs old,
maybe 20..
I will try to divide out some of the side shoots this summer.
Gorgeous blooms Helena. What is the 1st one? .

Gautier, MS

Thanks ladies. The first one was butterfly rose, Rosa Mutabilis.

Here's my blooms for today.

Beautiful colors Helena!

Love all your gorgeous blooms this morning Helena. The color on that last one
is amazing.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda and Jackie. I think that last one is Black King but not sure since I lost the label for it. It's probably deep inside the pot, happens quite a few times when I'm transplanting into bigger pots.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

I'm pretty sure you sent me sds of Black King Helena, I need to start 1 or 2.
Yours is very impressive. :-)

I hope another couple of mg;s will start blooming for me soon. In the meantime, I do like this lovely rosy pink that's been blooming.
My blue Clitoria opened a bloom today. This is the single. As soon as I find my dbl
Clitoria seeds from Helena, I'll start a couple..

Pretty blooms Jackie. My Clitoria has had a bloom or two too.

Took pics of these blooms this morning. Just got Windows 10, and not use to the way things open. First and fourth pic is of Karens2oo5 seeds. 2nd is PP with choco, Lav-plum 3rd, 5th is Black Queen.

Oh my goodness, those are so pretty.

Thanks Linda and Helena.
Love your blooms this morning Helena, all are beautiful. That 1st bloom'from Karen 05 looks like the purple i grew out of her sds in 2010. I think that bloom came out
of sds marked as Saz. Lav plum is a beauty as is PP. Very pretty Black Queen.

vibrant colors, I bet there is some fragrance there, right Helena?

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

The bacteria is on my pandy again. The high temps made it spread really fast.
I've dry dusted it with cinnamon after I ripped out tons of bad stems just'covered with it, Hoping it slows the spread of the bacteria.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Oh no! I hope you can get it controlled.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Me too Linda. I'm sick of it. .

Gautier, MS

Hope you get that under control too Jackie. Didn't get a chance to post my pics yesterday so here they are.

Sorry about the first blurry picture above, wish we had an option to delete after posting a bad pic. We had heavy rain so the blooms got a soaking this morning. Sun is out now!

Absolutely beautiful blooms you've posted this morning Helena.
What is the pretty purple on the 1st row? Is it the true Plum Purple Velvet?
Love the 4th bloom, No Mai? and remind me of the name of the lovely soft pink, last pic 1st set?

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Helena, those are all beautiful. Is the 2nd picture, first group a pale yellow?

Gautier, MS

Thanks ladies. The first pic on first set is a new one, I'll have to post the name tomorrow when I check for blooms. If I wrote it now, my spelling would be way off. That 4th bloom is just a Pink fuchsia.
Also the last lite pink pic is pink silk cross, first set.
Linda the 2nd bloom is supposed to be Moon and Stars without the stars (blue dots).
The blooms are smaller.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

I love your Pink Silk Cross
