Jackie, those are very nice. I love the mutant DFNM.

Thanks Linda. I need to grow out sds of the mutant so I can get a bigger seed stash.
It doesn't make many sds.

Beautiful blooms Jackie. Linda I didn't think to smell the lily. I just take pics and go inside. It's been getting too hot in the afternoons already.
I didn't get to download my pics yet. Yahoo mail was being so slow that I gave up.
Jackie, I had a bloom from a large chocolate silk that you sent me seeds of. The bloom needed help opening so I hope when blooms again, I'll be able to take a nicer picture of it. Also had blooms from pink silk that were all split in half, just hoping from seeds of that one. It turning out that this is not a good year for growing mgs for me even though won't give up completely on them.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Helena, I hope you get lovely blooms from that large Chocolate and that your Pink silk makes some blooms that aren't split. Of course, we'll like them even if they are split. I have a Pink Silk started too.
Don';t give up on your mg's. It must be the awful heat and humidity there We love the blooms you;ve shared with us and looking forward to
a lot more.
My possible mg tree cross should have opened this am but couldn't, closed too
tightly, maybe tomorrow. The bud looks red but I bet it won't open red.
None of my other mg vines even have buds.

Sorry for the double post, shockwave player, unresponsive script. What a mess.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

oh golly, I can just see you all with that kitten, Jackie. Such a lovely vision I had.
(I think I might be envious) Helena, that stripe bloom looks like you spray painted it with a dab of pink kool aid and I love it. Beautiful blooms you have there, I am so happy to see each and every one of them :) love the JL and Shibori cross, and that white lily is really pristine, and I bet, fragrant. :)

Lee's Summit, MO(Zone 6a)

Debra, you know - I am waiting in line for that wonderful husband of yours - he's such a sweetheart! I wish you were here - love you!

Lovely mg's, everyone.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Lookie here!!! Me so happy! YAY! here are all these Pandys popping up in the "new" tomato patch.. oh dear, LOL

Happy that your pandys have showed up Debra.
Mine is getting big on the fence. Unfortunately, the bacteria or virus is back and
will be attacking my pandy. Going to dry spray some cinnamon in a day or 2..

Waving at Kay. Wish you would come see us more often. :-)

Gautier, MS

Nice buds Jackie, they look like they will be pretty blooms. Hope they opened for you this morning.
Glad to see your Pandy's coming up Debra. I have 5 tomato plants in pots, one I found growing in the ground where I through veggies left overs to feed the birds, the other tomato plants I bought.
Glad to see you here too Kay.
My plants needed to be watered yesterday so I took the hose and sprayed all the leaves. Will do that more often now. A few of my morning glories are done, already collected seeds from them.
Here's a bloom from my pink silk cross. Second bloom is from Azuremores seed, a yougiro from Dany's seed, last Dream Catcher.

Oh those are beautiful Helena. Love your Pink Silk cross, Azuremores and Danys youjiro.
Helena, both my buds opened this morning into beautiful blooms,
My tag from Ronnie says mg tree # 2 or possible cross but it looks exactly like the lovely Pink Frost I grew last yr
1st pic is Pink Frost from last yr
2nd pic is the mg tree # 2, see if you think they're identical

Thanks Jackie. Your bloom is beautiful. They do look alike to me though in color and the leaves a bit too.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

I don;t know what to make of it Helena. Obviously this new bloom is not a tree
mg. But it's beautiful and thats all that matters to me so a big thank you to Ronnie for sharing. I do believe Debra has sent me a few sds also labeled mg tree # 2. My
neighbor is having a fit for Pink Frost so hope I get another like either one of these so I can share with her, I had to concentrate on getting sds last yr in order to be able to share so this surprise unknown, possibly mis-labeled mg is a bonus.
Finally I see buds on one more mg. Will be a while.
A pic of this mornings 2 blooms.on this pretty vine,

Hi guys, wow those are beautiful.. all of them.. i had the pleasure of seeing a purple purp this am , will have to pull it out, tho.
Jackie, If I sent you a seed packet that says mg tree, it was probably a mix of seeds iI had growing around a tree trellis or something... I don't have any tree mgs except for one and it hasn't bloomed. I did, however send you the kohkan and some other species seeds.. LOL good grief, you guys are gonna have a fit when mine start doing something, cuz I planted a ton of them from all of you, with no tags ( again) so yippee LOL
Helena, you sent me some salvia seeds, they are up and growing, just letting you know :)
Jackie, I planted your AO cross that you were so nice to share, and they are in their own pot that I DO have marked . *sigh*

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Debra, that makes more sense for your tree mg that it came from glories planted near the base of a tree perhaps.,
I like to use names Debra when I can cause its so hard to id them later with any certainty.
Not sure which Aog cross I sent you but will be great to see the pretty blooms I
know it will make.

Gautier, MS

You are right Jackie about keeping up with the names. You were right about the middle pic being Carnaval de vienese, my spelling is probably wrong. Planted my purple salvia in a big pot and it's doing nicely now.

Very pretty blooms this morning Helena. Love your purple Salvia too,.
I have one more of the Pink Frost look alike open. I hand pollinated yesterday and will again today. At least there wasn't any other mg blooms open for the bees to mess up my pollinating with.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Beautiful blooms Helena.

More of my morning glories blooming.

Beautiful blooms Linda, glad to see what you are still getting.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Lovely purps Linda.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thanks ladies.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

oh Linda I love those they are beautiful.. espcially that second one. OUTSTANDING!
I found two more pandys, one at the west fence ( where I pet Oreo) it is growing with a yellow trumpet vine, I must have planted a piece of the root Joe dug up and forgot. and another must be from seed, on the north fence. *sigh* once I was lost because my pandy was gone, now I am overrun with Pandy. LOL
Missed a huge orehime bloom and a large really large pink silk bloom from Jackie today. saw the spent blooms when I got home from work. This missing blooms thing is driving me nuts!

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

I am so glad you mentioned Oriheme Debra. I think that's the tag I lost when I fell a couple of weeks ago
I hope you catch yours blooming soon so you can share some pics. :-)
No wasn't Oriheme

Beautiful blooms Jackie. I have never seen a mother in laws tongue bloom before.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda. Seems like I had one bloom b4 but I don;t think it looked like this bloom. I could be wrong tho, its been a long time since one bloomed for me.

Gautier, MS

I agree with Linda, your blooms are beautiful. Your plants look great. I have that wild Oxalis that comes up in all sort of pots and places.
Blooms from today, Gray Twilight. My new seedlings, away from the rest of the plants. Bug on Pink Porcelain that I mashed catching that bug, saw a baby grasshopper too. White center Rebecca and Dream Catcher that didn't want to open this morning. We had quite a bit of rain yesterday starting at dusk.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Absolutely love the color of your Gray Twilight Helena. Its a beauty as is Pink Porcelain.
i have a PP started, hope mine turns out that pretty,
Your baby seedlings look great.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda and Jackie. My mgs have slowed quite a bit, so we'll be enjoying your blooms more Jackie, Debra. Linda keep posting yours too.
This first bloom was still open this morning from yesterday and neater FS BS.
Pink Mist from 2009 seed, C d V, no Mai. A few others bloomed too but with defects.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Sorry to hear yours are slowing down already.
Keep posting your beautiful blooms.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Beautiful blooms this morning Helena. Love the color change on FS/BS
Pink Mist is gorgeous and so is no Mai. I haven't planted a no Mai YET. I
did plant a few Carnival of Venice sds which I love more all the time.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

wow I missed a lot. Jackie that is fantastic with your mil plant blooming.. do they look like tiny orchids?
Helena as usual, your blooms are beautiful, please don't fall while mashing bugs, tho. I love your PP and that dream catcher.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Debra, i don;t think I would describe the blooms as orchid like. But they are airy,'
very intricate and very attractive. Just a surprise to see a bloom like that on a
mil.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

I have never seen a bloom on MIL before, Jackie. I have seen blooms on agave, and aloe vera and should have known that MIL's do bloom at some point.. How old is yours?

Gautier, MS

Thanks ladies.
Other blooms from yesterday and today. 2nd Dream Catcher, 4th Chocolate silk.
