I dug up my potatoes & found these white very tiny insects in places, especially on the rotting potatoes. There were also thread sized whitish "worms" (no picture) that wiggled & squirmed. Are these just cleaning up rotten debris or are these harmful to my garden? If harmful, is there control?
Can anyone identify these very minute insects on my potatoes that I posted a few days ago? I just hope they will not infest everything. Please help if you can.
You might try posting on the insect and spider ID or beginning gardener forum. Those forums get more traffic.
Looks like termites in your potatoes.
