My petunias under the lights are growing straight up rather than out. Lights have always been no more than 2 inches above the plant. Any way to correct this once I get them outside?

I would not worry about it at all, they will spread out once outside. But, I would "pot them up" into larger home, I think in NJ it is still a while before you can plant them out.
they look great-and even flowering!

They thicken when you pinch the spent blooms back, but needs more pot
