I recently came into some free trees that were supposedly redbud trees. However after they awoke from their winter slumber it became very clear that these are not redbud trees. Perhaps a type of maple? Please help! I need to know what these are and how they will grow (size) before I can even think about planting them.

Those are some sort of Hawthorn (Crataegus sp.).
Those wouldn't have come to you from the Arbor Day Foundation, would they?
