Hello all,
In prepping my garden today, I discovered a lot of these worms in the uppermost inch or so of soil in my blueberry bush container. Can anyone tell me what they are? The were actively trying to get back into the soil when I disturbed the soil. The BB bush is not doing well at all. I planted it last year and there is barely any growth at all.
Friend or foe of my blueberry bush
Your photo shows a sowbug and a centipede - neither is affecting your blueberry bush. Sowbugs feed on organic matter in the soil, breaking it down, and centipedes are carnivores that feed on other bugs.
