Hi,
Can anyone tell me what pest or disease is attacking my Hippeastrums, and how I should deal with it, please?
As can be seen in the photos it is a white sticky, powdery substance and it gets all over the leaves but is particularly more prevalent down near the bulbs at the base of the leaves.
Thanks,
redx33
Plant disease identification please
Mealybugs. Wash them off, use insecticidal soap, dip a Q-tip in rubbing alcohol and dab on them, or use Azamax. Or a combination of these treatments.
Hi momlady,
Looks like I'm going to be busy, I have a lot of Hippeastrums in pots that need treating.
Thanks for the advice, much appreciated.
Cheers.
