garden tool storage

Toronto, Canada

I am not a professional in gardening. I have been trying to raise a vegetable garden from past 3 months and it's going great. I have garden storage bed where I store tools and stuff. But now the necessities have gone up and I am planning to get this garden storage shed for my yard ( http://inthebackyard.ca/products/highlands-gable/ ) . Are there any other alternatives I can go for, something that would help me cut down the cost?

Garden sheds is an excellent choice, I guess you can make it yourself also. Go further

Lake Stevens, WA(Zone 8a)

Years ago, my Mom got a metal shed at Costco. It was cheap. She disguised it a bit with a Clematis vine and shrubs. Your choice is much more attractive, but the metal shed did keep stuff dry.

Algonquin, IL(Zone 5a)

Based on the picture, the shed you're looking at is very pretty, but it's also probably quite expensive.

I don't know how large your budget is, but If it were me, I'd lean towards Pistil's idea unless you have other plans for the shed.

If you know you plan to keep on gardening and have other uses for the shed a larger one can be very nice. We use ours for lawn equipment, gardening tools and lawn and garden amendments, but our house came with the shed. We put on a new roof, changed rotting boards and repainted to make it like new.

Have you looked at home improvement stores? Besides pre-built sheds they sometimes sell kits to build your own. Sources like Amazon.com can also be useful.

Good luck and congrats on your veggie gardening!
