TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

We don't have that much snow here - only about 2"

(Patti) Wichita, KS(Zone 6b)

The dusting we got last night melted the minute it hit.

Thank you, Ju. Are the hours the same? If so, none of us can tell time. LOL

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

Tuckersmom The time is suppose to be , but since the thread monitor left us , it's all good , lol feel it , say it ,, however the mood your in says ,,

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

LOL time....... it's different in different time zones, so I guess this is the "got a lot on my mind and can't nap in the middle of the day" thread LOL

(Patti) Wichita, KS(Zone 6b)

Makes sense to me. BTW, you guys can call me Patti. I hope the burdens get a little lighter for all of us. Right now my eyelids feel like they have cement blocks on them so I'll probably see you in the middle of the night, but I'm bowing out for the moment.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Hi Patti!!!

(Patti) Wichita, KS(Zone 6b)

Night for now, Susan. :-)

(Patti) Wichita, KS(Zone 6b)

Good morning everyone, and a chilly one it is out there. I almost felt sorry for Tucker when I let him out. But being a dog, he didn't seem to mind. LOL

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

chill is 8 degrees here this morning Patti ,

I have been playing with this , I am done for a few days , this is a shredder
Nicest thing about this configuration is the motor stays cool never gets hot ,

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

yeah well it's early

the shredder

Nice job! So if you know that the motor stays cool, you have done your trial run. How is it at shopping?

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

When I first started it was a little better , but got hot , 1 & 2
Now it chops wax paper into tissue consistency , I will try more later
3 is how it looks .

Excellent job, Ju! And great pictures!

I'm going to let the dog out for a minute and feed the cats and attempt to go back to sleep for a while. Thankfully, my cold is much better, but my energy level is still waiting to return. LOL

(Patti) Wichita, KS(Zone 6b)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

Happy Thanksgiving to you also Patti !!! and to all of you !!!

Beware of shopping today , lol and yesterday , ooops too late,, ,.

(Patti) Wichita, KS(Zone 6b)

I think I heard Walmart was going to be open today. I hope not. But my shopping was completed day before yesterday - thank heavens.

I've been up since 4:30, only because the weather alert went off on my tablet. As if we didn't know this crap is coming at us. It's 65° right now but will be 43°at noon and will continue to drop as a heavy rains move in, then changing to a mix. When I let the dogs out, it felt downright balmy.

How are the kittens, Ju? I've been watching for pictures. Gosh, they sure are cute. My two are a year old now. It's hard to believe. I have my neighbors dog for a week because the dogs' owner has a woman over there who will be at 105 on January 6. Whew!

The kitchen is calling my name again. Hope everyone has a great day and stays very safe. Good eats!

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

Oh Ju, you just made my day! And you even have a calico! They are all adorable and I love the kitten up in the tree – learning how to be a cat. LOL Thank you so much for pictures of your babies. I will go chop onions with a smile on my face. :-)

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Adorable kittens!!!!!
I love the calico very much :-)

(Patti) Wichita, KS(Zone 6b)

Hey Ju - Susan's in love with your calico too. Do you still have the picture of that Kittens face available to post here? Then she would really be in love. :-). Oh dear, I doubt that you're back from dinner yet. Well, if you get a chance?…

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

stuffed and sleepy , facing it with a mew , lol ?

Susan , as Patti asked , take a look

If I didn't already have two darling demons, I would drive up there and get her. What a face!

Thanks for sending the picture again, Ju. I took a two-hour nap after everyone left while the pots and pans soak. The kitchen actually looks decent considering… LOL

It's time to go get it looking better than decent.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

awwwwww how adorable is that? I agree - the kitten face is perfectly sweet!!!

Verona, ON

Cute kit. My 2 are banished to the downstairs right now. Streak has been a very bad cat. The 2 of them seem happy enough - there is infloor heating down there so there are nice and comfy.

Sounds like you enjoyed your meals. I love turkey could have it more than a couple of times a year. Hope you had help cleaning up your kitchens.

Ernie sounds better. He is in no pain which is a first for him in a long time. This news is via a friend who spoke to Ernie today. I think it will be awhile before he gets home. According to a friend Ernie wants home like yesterday.

Susan I'll be sending positive thoughts around noon my time tomorrow. Hope this will be the end of your troubles.

Last call for the 'boys'. Diesel and Chaos have their leashes in their mouths and Duke is trying to et his leash off the railing.

Hope the sandman finds some of us tonight.
Dianne and her Thundering Herd

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

Thank you, Dianne - my tummy's feeling the nerves right now..... I'll let you know how it goes

(Patti) Wichita, KS(Zone 6b)

I will be thinking of you too, Susan. Good luck!

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

thank you, Patti - appreciat it.

I know that Marcel's trying to wear us down - gave "additional paperwork" last night, then brought the "witness list" - 2 different trips, then called 3x after 10:30 pm
Tonight I found he'd called my cell, but it was turned off.
I did find a message between us, where I asked for the cost of the electrical parts, saying I want to pay for them. He texted me. I also found the rent receipt where it was $150 less because we gave him a discount on the rent to pay for parts.

(Patti) Wichita, KS(Zone 6b)

eeewww, sleet is hitting the window hard enough it woke me up. I'm so grateful I have a garage. Also grateful I don't have to go anywhere. I just let the dogs out and it's really nasty out there and it is supposed to continue through the day. Yesterday, we received over 2 inches of rain, which we really needed, but then it froze. I do believe it will be a wonderful day to cuddle with the pets, watch a movie, eat leftovers and snooze.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

we're home from the hearing that didn't happen, because he says he didn't get the first set of documents on the 16th (even though he got them on the 17th, he says he didn't, and the hearing officer says because they weren't properly served until he says he got them 2 clear days before the hearing, we have to wait until Dec 14th, his hearing date, when both cases will be heard.

(Patti) Wichita, KS(Zone 6b)

Sorry to hear this Susan. I know you were hoping to find something out. It sounds like December will be the month decisions are made. Good luck.

Anderson, IN(Zone 6a)

Not good to think about evenings many of these subjects . However since it is morning , it how to avoid the headache part of thought ,, I could say something about the last time saw a judge only not going there ,,,

Had the blade backwards , so turned it around , this even sounds like the 1963 Sunbeam I use to have . Would that be Grandma's chipper or shredder for the flower or cottage garden ,
Minds a little foggy or off so it will set a day or a while then tests , two of them to go , then finish ,
First the device ;
second ,, Happy old cat,,

You stay away from blades when your mind is foggy, please.

I have two cats curled up on me, both of them purring. Healing vibrations.

Opened the door to let the dogs out around three and it was much warmer than it was 12 hours ago. No wind – so maybe that's part of it. If our ice storm is over, we didn't have it too bad compared to many. There were almost 4000 people without power yesterday one county over.

Sure wish I had more pumpkin pie. I think I have a craving. LOL Going to turn on a movie and watch that until I fall back to sleep. Later.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

When we actually get heard, we have a lot of evidence against him, provided BY him..... should be interesting. I wish you all could be flies on the wall. Anyway, it's 2 more weeks...... give them time to find another place....

(Patti) Wichita, KS(Zone 6b)

Up since 1 AM. I think I have my nights and days turned around.

(Patti) Wichita, KS(Zone 6b)

Anyone else up? My eyes flew open a couple hours ago. I'm really tired of this. I would love to sleep at least four hours at a stretch.

TORRINGTON, AB(Zone 3b)

I'm up - laid in bed unable to sleep

(Patti) Wichita, KS(Zone 6b)

I woke up with a sinus headache yesterday. Nothing I took helped and by afternoon I was weeping from my left eye due to pressure. My mom called twice within 10 minutes and I ended up driving out there and taking her to run a few errands. I had no business behind the wheel of a car. I was having trouble seeing and the late afternoon sun was quite literally blinding. I had on my darkest sunglasses and they didn't help a bit. Luckily, the errands were accomplished and I made it home safely just as the sun was setting. I set down to watch the evening news at 6 o'clock and fell asleep in the chair. Now I'm wide-awake and still have the headache. Viewing this screen isn't helping. I'm going to try to go back to sleep.
