screens work great to clean small seeds
dee would love some of those seeds for my wild flower Garden Please .
marta what seeds do you need help with ? CZ is right about the screen & I will add a couple to the robin so if you still need help with some seeds you can use the screens & just be sure to put them back in the robin for others to use .

DJ, you have fun! I use a little stink strainer for really small seeds. Others, I put on a tray and pick out the seeds.
DJ- I'll put some in with your name on them. I still hope someone will recognize them.
Mama -There are lots of innovative ways to clean seeds depending on the type of seeds you have. Try googling "How to clean ---- seeds". You could get lucky. There are a lot of methods depending on the type of seed. I clean a lot of seeds and usually use the "roll down" method. Using a cigar box, and a business card. You put the seed and chaff at one end of the box, tilt the box, and then use the card with a scooping motion to get the seeds to roll to the other end of the box, leaving the flat chaff pieces behind. You can also sometimes "float" the chaff out by putting the whole mess in water.

TY Kat I Have some seeds that Say Moon flower but dose not say if its vine or the Plant & These are Black seeds so not sure maybe some one can tell me I Got them in a trade this pass spring at the PLANT SWAP & forgot to plant them.

Moon vine seeds are white and large. They're is a plant similar that's called a mom flower.

Well going to work on this over the weekend & I think I might be able to get the Robin up in the air MAYBE By WEDS

The wait is fine-I keep finding more things to put in-at 10pm last night I was on my knees on a sidewalk in Seattle, using the light on my cell phone to gather dropped fruit of a Strawberry Tree, and then a nail clipper to get dangling berries from a Leycesteria formosa.

for at lease a week before you Bag them .
A lady from one of my other garden groups sent me some
persimmon seeds & they had mold on them when they arrived but i cleaned them off & they look much better & I'm going to try to grow one or 2 anyone else like to try these are what I Have & will put your name on them
persimmon 3pks of 3 seeds
Cornus Mas 3 pks of 2 seeds
windmill palm 4 pks of 4 seeds
Jujube tree 5 pks of 2 seeds
I also have about 20 pks of tomato seeds ASK & I will send you a list & you can tell me witch ones you might want to try .& I will put your name on them there will be about 10 seeds per pk.
OH, DJ, I didnt meant hurry up...I meant this weekend is the finalization of the participants and it's getting closer to the flight of the robin....and I'm getting excited (as I know most of us are) :)
