Help identifying problem with cucumbers please

La Porte, IN

First year with a garden. I've tried the square foot gardening method and have a very crammed garden😁. I've produce a few cucumbers and a few more are growing but most of my leaves are dying. Burn yellow with holes. I've found a few earwigs and have thousands of centipedes in my yard. Although I haven't noticed any centipedes in the garden. I haven't used any chemicals and have sprayed neem oil in the garden. It's been hot and sunny in northwest Indiana for a few weeks now and I try to water every few day unless we get rain. Any advice will be great.

It looks like Spider Mites, to me. They thrive in hot dry conditions and they can kill plants fast. Do you see webbing?

Thank you, I didn't notice any obvious webbing other than the normal spiders in the garden. We did find a few mites though. I flipped off the dead leaves and sprayed some neem oil to hopefully help out

If you aren't having disease issues sometimes the easiest way to deal with SMs is to spray the folige with water a couple times a day. This makes for a wet environment, which they don't like. But never spray anything during the heat of the day, you will burn the leaves.

Your eye sight is a lot better then mine if you could see mites...they are almost microscopic. Lol
