Why vegetable plants are getting yellow in color & not beari

Frisco, TX

I've tried to grow vegetables in my backyard, but this year the results have been very disappointing (such as tomato, gourd plants). The plants are growing to a point where they flowering, but not bearing any fruits. The leaves are getting discolored (yellowish). Please see the attached pictures.

I'm pretty confident that its not due to under-watering as I've drip system running wherein these plants get adequate amount of water every alternate day.

Any ideas what could be causing this ? Really appreciate for responses.

In the last pic, see the lowest leaf, the one sort of cut in half by the camera? That looks like severe spider mite damage.

How wet is it before you water again? Roots need oxygen as well as water. If your soil holds water well, then you could be watering too often. Not allowing enough air into the soil between watering.

ALL the leaves, on the gourd plant show Spider Mite damage. Are you seeing webbing? Spider Mites like hot, dry, dusty conditions so by spraying the leaves a couple times a day with water should at least control them. Be sure to spray the underside of the leaves too. If these are flowering and not setting fruit it maybe due to lack of pollination or bc of the heat. You also need to make sure they have male and female flowers.

The leaves on the tomato plants may have SMs too but the pic is too far away. When did you plant your tomato plants? They look young considering it's almost August. They won't set fruit if the temps are too high and right now they are too high.
