Could anyone please tell me from the picture, what shrub this is called.

I have recently moved into a new house and I live the plant, but don't know what's it called.

Hello Bracken-
I am guessing Leycesteria formosa. There are some varieties with reddish variegation like your photo. Try looking at the photos in plant files or google it to see what you think. If it is this, soon the pretty flowers /showy bracts will be there, then berries.
