Hi! So I bought a Cycas Revoluta about 2 months ago and it was a little bit yellow but now a few leaves are almost completely yellow. Do you think it needs a bigger pot? More/less water? I don't water it too often..
Cycas Revoluta turning yellow
If you are fertilizing, the leaves can turn yellow from that or over-watering. New leaves can turn yellow from excess fertilizer or poor soil.
I fertilized mildly once, but the plant isn't growing at all... I thought about repotting because there are two roots growing along the bottom already.
They are extremely slow growers. When grown as potted indoor specimens, Cycads may add only one set of new leaves every year or two and remain somewhat the same size for a very long time. They are cool plants though.
