Ivory Dishwashing Liquid

I have always heard that Ivory soap is good to use to control striped beetles. As I understand it, you should use SOAP and not DETERGENT. Does anyone know if Ivory Dishwashing Liquid is soap or detergent? It does not say on the label.THANKS
