Has anyone planted any Prinsepia species (Prinsepia sinensis, Prinsepia uniflora, Prinsepia utilis)?
I am looking for plants that will grow in my region, that are cold tolerant and low on water needs. I see a lot of information about how they have edible fruit and make a good hedge. But most of the information just seems to be endlessly copied.
I purchased some P. uniflora seeds last year but they never sprouted. I don't know if it was because of my inexperience or if they were bad seeds. I got some more on their way but we will see.
Are they worth eating? Do they have invasive tendencies? Any real experience information would be helpful.
Question about Prinsepia species.
