I have a japanese maple in the backyard that is 25+ years old with a trunk that is at least 5 inches in diameter (i'll have to go home and measure it to be sure, it may be bigger than that). I would like some help identifying the exact type of tree it is, I know its a dwarf upright and it was thinking maybe a crimson queen but those get 8-10 feet tall and mine is probably only 6. Also I was hoping somebody could give me a ballpark value on the tree, I know they sell for a pretty penny in the nursery's and everyone wants them. I have never seen on quite as big as mine at least locally. Any information on this tree would be greatly appreciated!
I need some help with my Japanese Maple!
