Hi there, will someone please tell me why my Jade looks like this & what can I do to nurse it back to health? Your advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
Jade Plant Turning Yellow
Could be several reasons: overwatering, underwatering, under-fertilizing, lack of pruning.
Thank you
Is this kept in a full sun area? I have seen them thrive in sun, but only in really mild areas like San Francisco. Any warmer than that, or reflected heat off a wall is too much for them.
It's not related to under-watering, under-fertilizing, or lack of pruning. Since the foliage exhibits obvious evidence of oedema, you're over-watering and are probably using an inappropriate medium. Like potatoes and blueberries, jades like water and fertilizer but don't like wet feet, so a soil that holds no (or very little) perched water goes a long way toward eliminating problems related to excess water retention and fertilizer issues inherent in water-retentive soils.
