Please identify this plant central green striped "flower" pitcher shaped

Bethesda , MD(Zone 7a)

It popped up in the garden last year and this year there were two of them . I don't know if it is an
Insectivore , or what it is. Can anyone identify it?

There is nothing set in stone to say you cant ask a garden / plant question here on Beginners flowers.
Some folks enjoy the challenge of trying to ID plants while others don't know there IS a plant ID forum, either way most people on the site don't mind answering such a questions.
Other folks might be glad someone asked as they want to know also.

Hope you enjoy your named / ID plant and it gives you a lot of enjoyment.
Kindest regards.

Note that the header at the start of this forum reads as follows:
"Here are some tips to help you use our garden forums.
Do you have an unknown flower in your garden? We have a Plant ID forum to help!"

For prompt attention and more accurate answers, it's best to post plant ID queries in the Plant ID forum, as recommended.
