The leaves of one of the younger trunk on my pomegranate tree turned yellow. Other trunks are green and healthy looking. I don't see any insects on it. Anyone know what's up? Zone 9b.

Look low down near the base to see if anything has nibbled the bark or if there is any sign of a pest that might have bored into the branch.
Here is an example of a pest that could damage the plant very low down near the soil.
