I started a tree from a seed last year - I live in zone 8 - I brought it indoors during the winter and have it back outside at this point. I feel I need to repot the tree but will it ever bear fruit in a pot? The winters are much too cold for it to survive outside even though it might regrow. Any suggestions?

Avocado Tree
Unless you know it is a dwarf I highly doubt it will fruit in a container.
There are dwarf Avocado trees, but that fruit never makes it to market. If you are growing a Haas or other market Avocado, just think of it as a house-and-patio plant.
