Growing Square Watermelons

I've recently purchased some melonmolds to grow square watermelon this summer.

My issue is that the sunniest part of my yard also happens to be almost impossible to build a raised bed on.

I am wondering if crimson sweet watermelon will grow okay inside a 5 gallon bucket. I've seen it mentioned on here before, but I'd also like to know if it would reduce the size of my watermelon.

I need to watermelon to grow large enough to fill the mold.

What happens if the melon gets bigger than the mold ?

I need it to get bigger than the mold so that it will fill out the mold and take on a square shape.

From what the website says, it will eventually expand to fill out the mold and then stop.
