I got a few more mg's planted today along with more hardy Hibiscus and Canna's.

I go to see a Retina specialist Tues. The Dr I saw this past week told me there's something else going on with my eyes beside the cataracts. Trying not to worry until I
have reason to worry.

Here's what bloomed today. Tomorrow I might have some new ones if the rain doesn't damage them.

wow, eye candy is delicious, Helena. I planted one of each seed from Jackie that she has ever sent me, they are tagged and in their little grow plugs.

Jackie, there is nothing you can do when worrying, so keep your head filled with positive thoughts of beautiful blooms. I have been practicing that advice.. we can practice together.
I also planted one of each seed pack that Dany sent me, all tagged.

My white moon vines and the lavender moon vines are up. still no pandy, the rain and storms passed by us with not a drop, alot of wind, no hail or anything.

I spent yesterday in my recliner wrapped up , it was too cold for being outside.
I spent Saturday afternoon helping a friend of mine who just came back home from Texas,
( she has cancer) and she was told it grew a little, but no chemo or radiation is going to be done right now, so I helped her dig up her moms peony's and lilacs that were on her old country property, and replanted them in front of her house in the little town she moved to. I feel good knowing she is happy about that.
found this tree blooming on the way to work, on the way home I stopped to get pics with old camera, since it has a zoom lens. Isn't it beautiful? My lonicera's and clematis are going crazy.. I also saw the banana coming up behind the tulips at that house I pass everyday on the way to work, I swear I have to try that, the little plant I did plant ( facing same way ) has not shown itself yet.

I know you're right about staying positive Debra. I'm trying really hard..
I hope all my sds you planted do well.
Debra, see if your friend will try the Essiac tea. Even John Hopkins University has'admited that there is no finer herbal remedy for cancer than the Essiac tea.

Pretty blooms on that tree Debra. I'm surprised to see it blooming in Kansas...so I want one too! I've seen the blooms but can't recall the name.

I'm not disappointed with my mg's this morning even if some I grew before.

yummy eye candy this am from you, Helena. You all, Diane is very important to us here, her title is " Director of First Impressions" She is a really neat lady.
Found the name for the tree, it is cold hardy and grows 6 ft a season. I might be able to actually grow one and see it bloom before I leave this planet LOL
the tree is: Paulownia tomentosa.. Royal Empress Tree
Helena I love that pink porcelain. or pink silk, or what ever it is, and really love the dark red on the end the best out of this bunch. YUM!

I have never seen that tree before, it is beautiful!

Thanks ladies. I actually had seeds for that tree, so why didn't I succeed in growing them.

Yes Jackie, that is from my Pink Porcelain cross. Hope your eye exam went well.

It got quite cool this morning only had one nice bloom, I think, had to rush to do errands.
But I'm glad you started your seeds too Jackie. Noticed that I have to start checking for tiny worms that want to munch on my blooms!

Bad and good news on my eye exam at the Retina specialist. I do have macular'degeneration but no
shots in the eye needed yet. Apparantly just started. Now I see how bad the smoking was for my eyes and I smoked for over 40 years. He wants me to take the eye vitamins which I;ve started. Funny this Dr didn;t
say a word about cataracts
I'll start a new thread shortly.
