Greetings!
Welcome to the spectacle that is the 2015 Spring Round Robin Seed Swap!
The Robin flew the coup on April 2 headed to Kentucky!!!
This swap closed to new participants and is reserved for:
AmandaEsq - NC ------------------------Ship - 4/2
Annette (Nanny23) - KY
If I have missed your name (chagrin!) please let me know and we will amend the flight path as appropriate.
Please ensure that the HOST has your telephone number and that you check DG at least daily when the Robin is in your region.
If we don't hear from you - we won't ship to you. Your name will go to the end of the list, and you may receive the Robin on its return flight.
********************************************************
RULZ:
In the interest of FAIRNESS to participants
and to maintain the INTEGRITY of the Round Robin tradition
we each agree to:
(1) Treat the Robin as an individual swap taking the same time and care with our contributions to the Robin as we would with an individual trade;
(2) Take what you want, give what you can, generous in contribution and modest in appropriation - particularly if the amount of seed in the Robin is scant;
(3) Contribute only seed of known origin (commercial seed, harvested from our own garden, etc.) not older than 2013;
(4) Package our seed contributions to the Robin in clear plastic zip lock bags and/or glassine envelopes so that contents are visible and easily accessible by other participants in the Robin;
(5) Properly label our seed contributions to the Robin with our DG Name, common and botanical name of species contributed, and date of origin (PREFERABLY ON PAPER LABEL INSIDE BAG/ENVELOPE);
(6) Respond within 24 hours to communications from other participants and HOST of the Robin by dmail, telephone, or other means deemed acceptable by the HOST;
(7) Post on the main thread the arrival and departure date(s) of the Robin into and out of each participant's possession;
(8) Maintain possession of the Robin not longer than 4 days including holidays and weekends;
(9) Submit USPS tracking/confirmation information by dmail to the HOST only, not by public thread;
(10) Be a good sport!!!
AND it goes without saying that each of us must be a paid, subscribing member to DG through the duration of the Robin. Thank you.
*******************************************************
We are a friendly bunch dedicated to seed swapping and hoarding.
Many of us have participated in this time honored tradition hosted in the past by Susie (deejay9). Some of us have not participated in the Robin before. Please feel free to ask any questions of the HOST or participants on this public thread or by dmail.
Thanks for playing and for unabashedly pointing out any flaws or errors inherent in the HOST's logic or lack thereof.
~Amanda

.
Minnesippi....did you want to say something? :-)
Yayy!!!
Carolyn22....Happy Birthday!!!!!!! Hope it's a great one for you and ALL your wishes come true!
Have a wonderful birthday, Carolyn! :)
Hope you have a SPECIAL day!
Happy Birthday Carolyn!
I am anxiously waiting it's arrival!
Ohhhhh Nanny, Tomorrow is your LUCKY day! :)
Annette, get you get any of the storms that has been rolling thru? I have had several. Kathy
We have had one after another, right now we are at 6 inches of rain since yesterday. I will be glad when this stuff moves on through!
Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes!
So glad spring is on the way. We are having rain - such a nice change from snow.
Annette, they are saying now that we could have rain everyday starting on Tuesday thru Friday. Of course, that would be the week that I am planning on taking off if state doesn't walk in the building But I have plenty to do inside, just have things that I want to do outside.
Kathy
Same here Kathy...April Showers! And we went from 56* to 36*. Maybe the rain won't be so intense as it has been.
I hope that it isn't either. really ready for it to dry up so that I can get ready to get the garden plowed and ready to plant.
Are you watching the Wildcats tonight?
Oh Yeah, I'll be watching!
Duke just beat Michigan State
Happy Birthday to you Carolyn!
Also, don't know if I missed something, but I only see you and Annette on the flight path list Amanda....or am I looking in the wrong place?

No Val. Just marking the page so I could find it. :)
Happy Easter everyone!
Happy Easter everybody. The Robin landed yesterday, but with all the Easter preparations I haven't had a chance to go through it yet. Can't wait to see what treasures I can find.
There are a lot of "Sad Cats" here in KY today. I hate to admit it but Wisconsin was tougher than we were, 5 possessions with no points for the Cats...I knew we were in trouble deep. We are still proud of our UK Wildcats, they fought hard, but ran out of time.
Val -
Thanks for the flight plan.
Happy Easter everyone!
I feel the same way Annette, will always love my Cats.
Thanks so much for reposting the flight plan here Val! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter....

here. But do wonder why I am way up in the midwest and not in the SE with the other southerners? Maybe AL was taken as being Alaska? not. Doesn't matter I suppose. No worries
If there is any mistflower in that robin, put a sticky on it for me! :)
That is curious, Crystal. Amanda did that for a reason I guess. lol, I think I would have sent it from Minnesota to Colorado to Arizona then to Alabama, but who am I?
The Robin is on the wing again. Headed to Katgroves, which is not the ordrer posted on the thread, The list in the box has her next. From there it goes to Groovytee. Amanda is trying to keep us our toes. lol
Ready and waiting for it. Can't wait to see all the goodies that it holds.
Thanks, Nanny! Did you get alot of goodies!?
Kat, when you get the Robin, will you post the flight path, please?
Memays, how did you do with all your WS'ing this first year (I am a first year WSer also)
The flight path is pretty much the same except for Katgroves who moved into the 2nd slot, and everyone else moved down one. I believe that was the only change. But Kathy can tell us for sure when she gets the list.
Quite a few goodies. I am sure you will find more than you can plant (like me. lol)
Val, I'll post the list when I receive the box. Can't wait and will see what the box may not have that I can put in. Kathy
Very busy. Just waving a hand.
Received the box this afternoon but I have my 18 month old grandson so will have to wait and see what all is in it after they pick him up. Will try and get it back in the mail by Saturday.
Val - it looks like you are before me. Would you please make sure you hit me up before you ship? My address may change before then. We are closing on our "new" house on the 24th but not sure of an exact move date. Don't want to miss the robin! :)
Now I just have to make sure my seeds don't get packed!
OF COURSE, Minne! :0) Where are you moving to? Locally or ??
For everyone else,I'm guessing most of you are just waiting to see what is in the robin and what you want, but if you're looking for anything(s) in particular, please post to the wants list :)
Only a few miles from my current address. The "big" move was last summer. Moved "up north" (yes, further up in MN). Took 9+ months to sell the house amd another 6 months to get this sale done. We finally got our close date scheduled! Super excited. 11 acres!
Oh, FYI to all, Amanda is not MIA, really, she is waiting for a password from DG admin and is having issues. If you need amything in the mean time, let me know and I can hit her up.
Thanks
Stephanie
Wow, Stephanie, that's a long time to wait to close. I hope all goes super smoothly including the move...moving is always a BIG job. But I'm sure it'll be worth it when you get settled and "get back to gardening" :o)
So sorry to hear Amanda's having issues. Hope they get resolved soon!
Kathy, that must have been hell on earth having to wait til later to go thru the robin! :) Hope you found lots of goodies!
Val, yes, it was. But with Noah here there would have been seeds everywhere. But I did find several that I didn't have. It was fun just seeing what everyone had put in the robin. Glad that I joined.
