Persimmon tree not fruiting

I have a ten year old Fuyu Jiro bought from our Botanical Garden. At the time purchased, they said it did not need another to pollinate. Has never made fruit, although has produced small, infrequent calyx appearing growth. This year the growths are abundant ! Thinking I need another tree to pollinate? Advice PLEASE!

likely rootstock that DOES require pollinator.
