I bought a peach tree that was wrapped in a burlap that said bio degradable well I removed it any way since I have heard people say to remove burlap well when I removed it the soil fell off to where the tree was bareroot the tree is dormant so did I hurt the tree by removing it I water it after planting.
burlap wrapped trees
Probably not. Unless you damaged the roots in some way, broke or cut them, the tree should be fine.
Okay Thank you.
I've bought many trees and shrubs with bulap-covered root balls - removing the burlap is fine, and so is planting it along with the tree, as long as you loosen it up, and tuck it well under the soil - you don't want it sticking up through the soil (at planting, or after the plant settles and has been watered several times.) That will insure the roots can begin to spread out and not be "girdled" by the burlap.
