No worries.
There are a lot of different threads for the swap, so I can see why it's confusing.

SPRING PLANT SWAP - MAY 2015
My fault for starting all the multiple threads stuff for swaps! Keeping the main thread for general logistics and a running list of who's coming does help the host/hostess... and we want to keep this easy so Muddy doesn't regret offering to host this spring! :-)
Muddy, do you want to put out a general call for people to bring canopies (for shelter, "in case"), as you mentioned yesterday? Terri & I should have 2 or 3 between us. I liked your logic that if we have enough canopies there, it won't rain!
Critter, no need for a general call; 3 canopies probably would be enough. I don't have much flat space in my backyard so might not be able to set up more.
About the threads...in the future, I think it would make sense to combine the food and main threads. It'll be redundant, but I'm going to put the food contributions at the top of this thread and see how it works.
Ric and I usually bring a canopy to set up over our table. Would there be enough room for that or should we not bother?
I think you're right about not needing a separate food thread. The plant discussion is the only thing that can really overwhelm other areas, especially once people get going with requests and offers!
Holly, yes please bring it.
I'm going to copy your idea of having a drop-off area for plants (somewhere other than my back yard), so that will save some space.
Count me in... looks like a great time and a good way to meet a good number of Mid-Atlantic Gardeners all in one place. :)
Will be glad to bring a dish, something for the gift table, and my own chair. :)
CAM

Welcome jeanniejayne! I'm sure you all will have a good time.
Hi Jeanniejayne, welcome to our group :)
Jenniejayne!!!! Hi and welcome.
Welcome to you and Cliff. Looking forward to meeting both of you very soon.
Welcome, Jeannie! I love that we'll be seeing new faces. :)
I'm glad that you and Cliff will be here!
To all of you newcomers:
Although not a requirement, you're encouraged to check out the "Have and Want" lists (see link at top of this thread) to see if there are any plants you would like to have, or any plants you have in excess that someone else wants.
If you see something, there are 2 ways to touch base with the other DG member: send a Dmail (you can do that by clicking on his/her name) or "speak up" in the swap discussion thread (2nd link at the top of this thread).
You don't need to get in touch with them now, but it's a good idea if there's something in which you're really interested. People might not bring every plant on their list if no one has expressed any interest in them, especially if it means digging up things that otherwise could stay in the ground until the Fall Swap!
You might also want to post your own "Have and Want" lists. Don't be shy; you won't be a newcomer for long!

I just sent a D-Mail with my address to everyone whose name is at the top of this thread.
If you didn't get a D-Mail from me and plan on coming, let me know!
Muddy, I might be bringing another guest -- the mom of one of Joyanna's ballet friends. I'll post again when I'm sure... I'll have a chance to twist her arm on Thursday. LOL
I am a newbie and will attend for the first time!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome! We look forward to meeting you!
Sounds like Vickie and Larry (Crickethillct) are planing on coming. They are having computer issues so I will make sure they have the info on when and where.
Looking forward to meeting you, terlichman! Several other newbies will be attending as well. Be sure to look at the have/wants thread to see what all is being offered.
Welcome, terlichman! I'm looking forward to seeing new faces! :)
Terlichman - tell us something about your yard conditions and your preferences/interests so we can bring some plants that you might make use of.
Sweet, I love all these newbies!! It's great to have some fresh blood around here :)
Welcome!
Welcome Terry and all "newbies" after all we were all newbies once.
Even "old ' Sequoiadendron.
Holly, Larry and Vickie are so nice, will be great to see them too!
Heehehe, 'OLD' seq!!! He's just a young pup.
Another newbie I will miss meeting in person. Welcome terlichman!
Haha Sally
terlichman, you should have received my D-Mail yesterday; we're all glad you decided to join us!
Sadly, WatermarkWoods said she can't make it after all : - (
If anyone hasn't figured out what to bring for the gift table, please don't bring anything! One of my relatives gave me a tall stack of gardening books, so we'll have more than enough. If we run out, I'm going to give away my goldfish! Just kidding....or maybe not.

...plus--I always bring at least 3 gifts for the table. Covers some who did not.
Gita
THANK YOU all for making this newbie feel so warmly welcomed! Can't wait to meet you on Saturday.
