Wind, I mapped it for you and it says it's a smidge over 3 hours. That's not too bad.
SPRING PLANT SWAP - MAY 2015
I too can offer overnight accommodations to anyone traveling North on I-95/.
I am just 2 miles off of I-95 at Exit 67. Dianna and DH--you may fit into this category.
I-83 is a bit to the west--but not to far out of the way if you need a sleepover.
I have two twin beds upstairs and a double bed downstairs (with private bathroom)
available. Plus--a couple comfy sofas.
Anyone wanting a break from driving is welcome. The only glitch is that i work on
Sundays--and may not be able to visit with you Sunday morning.
If I kmnow well in advance that you may want to stop over--i can ask for a later shift
on Sunday--rather than 8-5 or 9-6.
Gita.
Hi all...ok if I join in on the festivities even with being MIA for months? Would like to bring the girls again - so 3 total. Yes - will bring a goodie for gift table

Of course you're welcome Chantell!
Always great to see you Chantell.
Hi, Chantell!!!!!!!!!
Chantell, I'm glad you all can come!
yay Chantell !!
Looking forward to seeing you again Chantell!
Edited to say: Chantell, wish you had posted a day sooner. We weeded some nice, robust clumps of Chickweed yesterday. I even commented to Pat that if we knew you were attending the swap that I would pot them up for you. :-)

Don't want to hijack Muddy's organized thread so I'll scoot over to the chat one. Love you all...thank you for the sweet words!! My friend won't be able to make it after all - so 3 for me.
It's time to talk food! Here's the potluck thread: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1390911/
I would like to come, with husband, Tom. We're in McLean. I will bring food (will post), gift table item, and, of course, plants (will post on swap thread.
I'm glad to hear it; we love newcomers! We live so close that you could even bike here if you weren't bringing things and taking stuff home.
Welcome Biker1, you're going to have a nice short drive! :)
Awesome, welcome Biker! Lol...I have to laugh, when I first saw your name I thought of a rough and tough biker dude gardening. That was until you mentioned your husband....Lol
Hi Biker! My husband Mark will be glad to see another guy especially if he's another non gardener.
I'll send everyone my address and directions later on, but in case you want an idea of where I live so you can plan your trips, my house is 1/2 mile from here: http://www.nps.gov/wotr/index.htm
These signs are on the trail around the park; they never fail to crack me up. You'd think I'd reached Mexico or Canada!
I think my husband will be around to man the grill, and he's also a non-gardener.
goody- the non gardeners can convince each other that the gardeners are not crazy...Well, not Uniquely crazy..
US boundary, haha, go figure? Maybe Wolf Trap is like Vatican City
Sad to say I'm not going to be able to meet so many new people. I was looking forward to that. Will be babysitting. My son will be officiating a wedding that day. I KNOW a great time will be had and please take pics.
aw Jan, we'll miss you...but you'll have a good day too.
Jan, we're going to miss you!
Sorry to hear that, Jan.
Thanks, guys!
bring the kids on down! ;-)
Jan you will be missed.
Jan :-( Yeah...bring the kids...my two grandies will be with me!!
I have toys that my niece and nephew liked until they were 9'ish. There's a playground a baseball throw away, and a creek 2 blocks away. My girls loved to wade in it.
Annapolis to Vienna is about an hour.
NJ...sounds really long!
Heehehe, yes, REALLY long. Thanks for the invite for the kiddos, but, with four of them it wouldn't be enjoyable for me. And , you know, it's ALL about me. Hahaha. I crack myself up sometimes.
Lol....you crack ME up Jan.
That's a long drive for a day trip with 4 kids... guess I knew it wasn't a serious suggestion. But Joyanna will be thrilled to know about the creek! Is the creek part of your adopted wooded area, Muddy?
Yes indeed.
Anyone want some Purple Liatris? I have one to give away.
I'll take it.
Done.
Anyone want a bag of mixed glads? They are orange and pink and were pulled from the ground and stored in peat all winter in the garage. LMK.
is anyone interested in the variegated Miscanthus Tammy was offering???
She has large clumps to divide. Please let me know HERE if you are--
or in the swap discussion Thread.
Thanks. Gita
Sequoia, see what you started ?? ; - )
This is not the thread for discussing plants!
Take it over here: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1387839/
Hmm...I guess it was confusing. It seemed to me that there were two threads for the swap and it wasn't clear what this one was for. My bad =(
