Swedish mutant flower?

california, United States

Hi! I found this in Sweden (Härjedalen*). It kind of grew in a swamp, so this from above picture is the only one I have.

Any help identifying this would be very appreciated!

I think it may be a distorted Geum rivale.

Ayrshire Scotland, United Kingdom

I dont see the foliage looking like any of the Geum types that I've seen or grow, The foliage of any of the Geum I grow and others I've seen have foliage looking like Ferns or more lacey edges. But could be so very wrong, the pic reminds me of the Hardy Annual Godetia - also called Clarkia, Even some annual Brugmansia / Datura / Angels Trumpet. I do agree the flower looks distorted but need more info.Maybe one of the Mallow /Lavatera family or even reminds me slightly of a Incarvillea, but again, I'm guessing,

Is this the plant or picture off, when was it in flower, Month would help. was it a garden plant or growing wild.
These answers to that would help also to get a better idea of what it is. To be honest, it looks quite like several plants that grow here in UK and I'm sure elsewhere, so more info would be helpful.
Kindest Regards.

Here's a photo of Geum rivale (normal) for comparison:

Here's Clarkia amoena - I don't see any resemblance, and it's not a plant of swamps:

Ditto in both regards for Datura, Brugmansia, and Incarvillea spp.:

I don't detect any convincing resemblance to Malva or Lavatera but it's slightly more possible (though these are also not marsh plants):

The leaves of marsh mallow (Althaea officinalis bear some slight resemblance:

Do you have any more photos of it? EDIT: Sorry,, scratch that. You've said that you didn't.
