I bought some of these bulbs to send to my mom. Today is Saturday, and I'll FedEx or UPS them on Monday. In the meantime how should I store them? They're already putting out some green, but not much. Maybe an inch or two. I'll likely send these via 3-day ground. Thanks.
Storing Chinese narcissus bulbs for 1.5 days before mailing?
I think I would pack them in some very slightly damp (almost dry) peat moss or vermiculite. Something that would hold just a trace of moisture, but in no way could be called wet. I think peat moss is a better cushion, it tends to cling to itself better so the bulbs would be safer in transit.
