Deltona, FL

I have a few orchids growing and was wondering if anyone had heard about a homemade Orchid Fertilizer. Here's a link:

Way too long a read just to try find a method for feeding a plant, IF it's so natural, easy and works, it should NOT take ages to reach the point or recipe, anyway, I'm way too busy to sit through all that.

It sound like a sales pitch to me, like one of thos old Readers digest sales pitches.
Best of luck to all who manage to reach the end of this script.
Hope it works
Best of luck.

The best fertilizer:

Do a soils test.

Add what is lacking.

Thank you both for the kind words.

My dearest WeeNel,

What would it have taken for you to answer YES or NO to the question?
You claim not to have time to read, according to you, a way too long method,,,,, and yet you have all the time to spew some uninvited vile on the forum. Just in case you haven't noticed,,,,,,this is a very friendly forum for friendly individuals. Keep your sad opinions to yourself ,,,,and be happy.
MAY THE GOOD LORD BLESS YOU!!

I don't see this as information. It's advertising. So is this other thread....

WellNel is a lot friendlier then you are and she's a paying member that isn't trying to sell anything.

WeeNel-
Do not spend a single second being upset by this post. I (and I am sure MANY others) have found you to be unfailingly kind and helpful and patient. You are actually a role model for etiquette on internet forums. I truly appreciate your willingness to share your extensive knowledge, and your common sense.

Since we're already way off-topic (thankfully) I would like to add my voice to the chorus and thank WeeNel for being there first, and for being so thoughtful with her commentary, and being so tolerant of the rest of us. :)

mabatho, please accept my sincere appology for any offence you feel I caused, my intentions were to be up front and honest, saving others a lot of their valuable time by having to read way to the end of what was actually a long drawn out sales pitch.

To answer your own question "What would it have taken for me to give a "Yes or No" answer, my world ain't as black or white as yours appears to be, sometimes you need to try explane or elaborate as to why " Yes / No is NOT always appropriate, just like your original One for an Orchid Fertiliser, had you kept your sales pitch to read " being payed to sell a fertiliser" right away I would have skipped the long drawn out script, saving valuable time on my part as being a house wife, grand parent, wife, and gardener actually takes up much of my time.
By the way, all those tasks are unpaid, done to the best of my abilities and with love, so " looks like God has truly blessed me" already thank you,

All you wonderful Daves Garden folks, thank you all so very much for you kindest of support and choice of kind words.
I've been under the weather with the usual winter FLU bugs and flat out in bed, (by the way, DH has now got the male version of this and naturally, he's even worse LOL.
Your kindness is wonderful at this time but please know there are lot's of people who show much patience, encouragement on this remarkably extensive and friendly site so, I like to think we all help and care about each other with our gardening needs AND a few kind words thrown in.
Hope spring is beginning to show it's Snowdrops etc for you all and like me, they sure hearald the new season with joy.
With the kindest of regards to you all.
WeeNel.
