I have what I think is a bamboo orchid. I've had this little guy for years, and it has always been a beautiful green but never flowered. In the last couple months, the green shoots all turned brown. Just last month, the final green shoot turned completely brown.
Is there any hope left for this little guy? Should I prune back the brown (I assume dead?) shoots? I keep watering it, and it appears to soak up the water as there is no water at the bottom of the pot afterward...
Any thoughts or advice is much appreciated!!
Bamboo Orchid
Looks to me like the top part is dead, and I have no idea if this type has any sort of bulb in the soil. If so, that might still be alive, and could regrow.
