They generally retain their blooms for about a month. I have mine planted close to my house and they bloom early and for a longer period of time. Yours may produce more blooms later on.

All my lenten Roses (9, each a different variety / bloom color / time) are in my side garden within 1-4 feet of the west side of my apartment (which is painted white clapboard) and its one of 3 closest.

my surprise was not only did it bloom ahead of schedule but that this two year-old plant did it!

From all my reading, nursery's information. etc: lenten roses don't bloom until they're 4 years old!!!! If my info is wrong, then I'm gonna have a glorious riot of different color blooms: starting NOW (3 were harvested from the wild BECAUSE of their blooming time. which prompted me to get the other 6 = all 2 year olds )

I think MOST of my friends who are gardeners have been mentioning the same thing you have, I have had A bright red Rhododendron in flower 3 times this year, first flowering normal Early May, the September, and again Early November, last 2 blooming times, the plant was NOT in full bloom but, enough to give the shrub plenty colour. My perennial borders were all done flowering end of July as the summer came in with a hot bang in April, 2 months earlier for here in Scotland.

I would not worry about the plants flowering a bit earlier, they go by Natures calender, which is maybe a bit different to our normal seasons, IF you get cooler summers/autumns next year, they may well revert back to the normal flowering times, Also remember, the instructions and flowering times given are as a guide, NOT as a given and there are many reasons for late flowering as well as early, just enjoy, take pictures and you will remember where each different plant is for when you await them flowering next year.
Take good care.
Kindest regards.

Yes, there are a lot of variables and fluctuations in nature.
