Plant selection advice

Chelsea, AL(Zone 7b)

Just bought a set of 3 pots and can't decide what to put in the last one. It needs to be tall, very narrow, and bulletproof since I'll be maintaining it. The windows are North facing. My best guesses so far are a corn plant or draceana compacta as I've seen pics of them that would fit the bill.

Thanks in advance

Yes, Corn Plant is a good one. Cordyline fruticosa is similar.
A vine on a stake would also stay narrow. Perhaps Philodendron hederaceum (old name P. cordatum) or Epipremnum aureum.

Thanks Diana, all good tips. I decided to go with the pothos (so rare, I know) hoping to make it climb and spread over the tops of the windows.

Pothos can do that. I grew it in an aquarium, roots in the water, stems and leaves out of the water, and it grew all around my livingroom, in and out of the aquariums (I had several in there).
It also grew out one window and in another through an enclosed porch.
