i'm having trouble figuring out what to plant on my property.maybe somebody can help.would like to plant something that isnt too delicate and dies off easy.would u guys reccomend planting ceanothus buckbrush in merced, california? i was looking for something that grows 6-10 tall and width all around 5-6 feet.they will be planted near along a 6 foot fence on my property.fence is inches away from concrete canal..canal water only comes from around june to late oct.about 100 feet of the path is not near the canal, nearby i have lavenders and a couple of mimosa trees plus 1 crype mrtyle.would i be better off planting rosemary tuscan blue? all ideas are welcome.
need help on planting.
I love Rosemaries, but that lilac is a native and gorgeous when it blooms. Could plant both? Merced is tween San Jose and Stockton, can get pretty dry, windy and dusty there, most plants stay lo growth if memory serves me well, not sure if that lilac grows there honestly, tho I see it on the slopes down south of LA toward San Diego...
