I have some window boxes I would like to fill with succulents on the north side of my house. They get pretty much full shade, except for some late afternoon sun in the spring/summer. Are there any varieties that will do ok? would love to find a trailing variety as well. I am in zone 9b (s. California) . Thanks!!!!

Different zone -- Sedum do ok in shade here in NC..and
there are trailing sedum.
Hens and chicks..but the color isn't so good in shade -- but you do get some sun.

Aptenia is a succulent that I have seen growing in a window box on a North wall. May not have quite as many flowers as one in more sun, but grows just fine. Dense, full...
