I have 5 or 6 seeds from my mom's money plants....that's all I managed to save - I have them in a little container right now and they have sprouted but it's fall here and I am so wanting them to live because they were my mom's I'm unsure what I need to do with them at this point - not put them outside? Do I need to transplant in a bigger pot for the winter??? Any help would be appreciated!
Money Plant
Typically they are biennials and sprout before winter outdoors and hang on through winter. Then in spring they put on size, bloom, set seed, and die. I'd be more concerned about them getting covered up by leaf debris (some is okay but you don't want them to be smothered) than the cold. They would probably do okay indoors as well but not sure if the lack of cold might delay blooming or speed it up. One thing for sure, once one blooms and sets seed, you won't have to plant it again - you will get plenty of volunteers.
