Pls help with ID and Treatment! Can I bring it inside?
The House Plant forum and the Plant Disease Forums see more action than the one you posted in, but here is what I would do:
Since you want to divide it anyway, I would take cuttings from the parts that do not show the damage, just in case.
They do look like mechanical damage, though, not a disease. Perhaps cold water? Perhaps the soap?
Dish washing liquid is generally safe up to 1 tablespoon per gallon on many plants, but there sure might be some that cannot handle it. Still, those spots look like what I have seen when a plant with somewhat succulent leaves is watered with cold water.
To take cuttings:
Where the leaf joins the stem and there is that bump with some tissue over it the plant can grow roots or buds that will grow into stems and leaves.
Make cuttings with at least 3, and 4-5 is better nodes. Keep the leaves on the top 2-3 nodes and bury the lower nodes (removing these leaves) in good draining soil. Do not over water. These should not be kept soggy wet. Still, pay attention to them. Without roots they might dry out faster than an established plant, so need some water.
