2014 N Central TX RU October (Arlington) TRADE THREAD #1

Dallas, TX

SPWD - Thought I posted this a little while ago but either posted it somewhere else, or else it's a trick of my memory or my computer. Do you have seeds for any milkweeds? I think I got some from you at the last RU. If you do have seeds, what kind(s) would you be willing to part with?

(Becky), Lipan, TX(Zone 7b)

Got it Gypsi, I'd love to swap a chick for passionflower! Flowerchild yes I need to go through my seeds and see whats left but I should have a few packets of asclepias tuberosa left. The asclepias asperula and a. viridis have pods that aren't quite ready yet right now but maybe that will change before RU :)

Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)

Dennis, do you have any Strawberry Bushes left? I can trade you a Flame Acanthus seedling.

I'm not sure what I will be offering or bringing yet, at this point. I haven't spent too much time in my flowerbeds of late.

Carla

Link not working

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Okay, I'm not sure what's wrong. When I preview, there are links there and they work. If you have suggestions, PM me.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

I think the links are not working at DG at this time, many people are having problems.

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

If I click on the post number for the links I get them but drops the comments

(Becky), Lipan, TX(Zone 7b)

I think I've got everyone requests updated on my list, if anyone notices a mistake just lmk. Also I added a few things :)

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Josephine, thanks for the head's up.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

I didn't find any mention of problems on the Daves forum, so I sent an email with the links to an old thread with links that worked and this one with non-working links. Maybe we can get an answer before long as to why they aren't working. I went to the test section and tried it also without success.

However I just went to Dennis' post and copied the shortcut and pasted it here with success. I had dmailed Stephanie last week and said try putting a space at the end of each link, did you try that Stephanie?

I just brought up the 2013 trade thread and the links are not working. Sheila, that link in your last post is also not working so I highly suspect that something is going on globally on this site. It looks to me like the logic that scans the content to look for a URL is not working correctly.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes, I hear they are working on it, we shall see.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes, I received an email response from Terry in Admin that said it was one of the items on the tech's list.

I see that the links haven't turned green yet which means they are not working.
Terry said they are working on it, I hope they get it done soon, so we can have out lists available.

Dallas, TX

Oh, good. I was getting paranoid thinking it was just me.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

No still not working.

Josephine can I have the Passifora Caerulea vine. I have one of the purple ones if anyone wants it.

(Becky), Lipan, TX(Zone 7b)

Flowerchild I have 2 liatris I can give you, if they are the ones you're looking for.. Native liatris mucronata :)

TARogers I'd love the purple passionflower! I got one at the last RU but it's not looking too good after this dry summer!

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

O.K. Ted one of the White Passion vines is yours.

Dallas, TX

Josephine - I'd love any passionflower that you still have. And Greg's Bluemist (if it will overwinter outdoors.) Mine is just now starting to bloom. I'm dwelling on the shrubs. Will get back to you.

SPWD - Yes, the liatris is what I would like. Also, I have some seeds of Ascelpias Tuberosa that you gave me last spring so don't need those. But if you are able to score asclepias asperula and a. viridias, please count me in. BTW, would you be interested in an unrooted cutting from an epiphyllum? I know you loved them when you were in Hawaii.

Gypsi - I'll take your liatris too if it's still alive.

Ted -Would like to try the ginger if still available.

Bananna - Would like some blue bedder sage if still have.
