Please help me distinguish whether this pineapple is edible

I have no experience growing pineapples. I don't remember where I got it from and want to know if this pineapple is edible or ornamental. Please help :) thank you very much!!

I have been looking up any combination of these words:
Red Leaf Pineapple Dwarf Ornamental
and similar.

All I keep finding is a green leafed or variegated plant with a red to pink fruit.
Probably more googling will bring up the answer.
