Help needed for my Jade plant

Milwaukee, WI

I have a good sized Jade plant that
is dropping some petals. This has
just started happening lately. I haven't
moved the plant and I'm wondering if
the plant needs more water or less
water. Help !!!

Contra Costa County, CA(Zone 9b)

If the leaves are not wrinkling, then it is getting enough water. They are very drought tolerant.
Other signs of not enough water:
Normally the Jade plant has shiny leaves. When the water is getting scarce the leaves start getting dull, even before they start to wrinkle.
They do not wilt until the dry conditions have gone on a long time. Plant probably won't recover.

When to water:
Thoroughly soak the plant. Really make sure ALL the root mass, ALL the soil is wet.
Lift the container. Feel how heavy it is?
Now let it go until the soil is dry several inches deep in the pot. Lift the container. Feel how much lighter it is? Are the leaves less shiny yet? Give it a few more days to keep drying out.
Finally, see the first HINT that the leaves are not quite so shiny. Lift the pot. Feel how light it is?
How many days has it been? If the weather remains the same, then go one day less than that for watering. Water it before that first hint of 'not quite so shiny'.

One of mine: When the plant falls over because the pot is so light it no longer acts like ballast. (Moved most succulents to clay pots, and now the pots are heavy enough not to fall over)
