Morning Glories 2014 #11

Jackie, those are really nice. Love that last one!

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda Debra and Jackie.

Debra, that blue in one and four are from a gift baggie from Emma mix so they have no ID.

Beautiful blooms Debra. I like both of them, I thought I had a maroon youjiro blzd open but it turned out to be solid color.

Pretty blue colors on your no Sora and Blue blizzard. Your white hige is similar to Gypsy Bride, Jackie? Or is the difference that Gypsy Bride has that tint of blue in it? I grew it once but it bloomed in late fall so I really didn't get to see it much before frost came.

Wish I had started more purpureas, they said that Rebecca is one of the firsts to set blooms.

I am so confused, I was told that rebecca is the red and JC is the blue one, I have both blooming, and really love them. Oh well, as long as I love them I dont care the name. anyway, I love you blooms Helena and Jackie, and that hige does look like Emmas hige she had sent me one time, wish I had some now LOL.. I have saved some peppermint hige for you all.. Jackie No Sora is so beautiful, looking forward to ne blooming soon here from you. Here is what has bloomed outside for me so far.
I am still looking for blue blizzard, if I show it please let me know ;)

Thanks Linda, Helena and Debra.
Helena, I think Gypsy Bride was a fuller, fluffier bloom with the blue markings on each corner
I don't have a clue which hige my 2 different blooms came from. I have 3 higes in that pot.
Debra, now I need to check. I've always called the blue one Rebecca and its been blooming
longer than any of the other purps Helena. I aways thought JC was the reddish one.
Debra great blooms. I bet that last one, 1st row, could be Pink George Strait,
the 1st bloom on the 2nd row really looks like it could be Blue Blizzad.
Love the Tower of Power.

Deb, the plant files are full of erroneous entries. No wonder Ron used to get so put out.

I am like you Debra, name does not matter as long as the blooms are pretty!

Gautier, MS

OK, I'm confused about names too now. So I'll go with what was on the baggies, then add a description for details. That's how I do anymore. Will save you seeds from those blues Debra.

Really love all your blooms Debra. Beautiful to look at.

So all I have are repeats.

hELENA YOUR REPEATS ARE BEAUTIFUL, THE lite blue in 1st picture looks like it has a kiss of sky in it, and the second blue looks like it has been brushed with a stroke of lavender going down each petal. really nice the way it lights up pink /purple in the middle. that white and pinkish stripe one reminds me of coton candy , is that china doll?
now let us get really confused, this came to me from Jackie as PPV..

Beautiful blooms Helena.

Debra, my PPV has never made booms like that for me, maybe a cross. Lets see
what it does next.

Thanks Debra, Linda and Jackie.

Pretty bloom Debra.

Debra, no that is my chocolate cross. The vine had 3 blooms this morning, all 3 were different. I didn't post the 3rd bloom b/c of its perfect imperfections....but here it is.

No blooms from China Doll.

Those are beautiful Helena. Sometimes I wish I could find some fabrics with the colors and designs for quilting!
