Can you ID this, the plant is about 4 feet tall and loaded with blooms.

Hi paulgrow , that is Japanese Anemone flower . It's is very beautiful but it can be invasive too . After the petals fall of and the seed pods dry they disperse and form lots of plants . I have allowed my to go to seed a few years ago and I now have lots of plants but this year I will cut of every seeds pods. This is one of my favorite plants because I love to see the big bees doing their jobs on the flowers . One of my friends have the White one and it is lovely too.
