Cucumber issues

Burlington, NC

I planted a early cucumber crop from plants I purchased at Lowes. They became diseased looking so I pulled them up and planted plants I started from seed. The same thing happened to these. I have tomatoes...peppers....eggplant...squash and asparagus all planted in the same bed. Everything did well except the cukes.
Attached are pics of the sad looking plants.
Can anyone tell me what is wrong and what to do?

Don't know, but the other plants you have planted in there are uprights and not on the ground like the cucumbers. Wonder if that might have something to do with it. Maybe a fungus in or something in the soil. Have you tried a fungicide? Something like Captan. It might be worth your time and trouble since you seem to like and want the cukes, and that seems to be an issue with them. Please let us know.

One more thing, do you have a Master Gardeners booth in the fair, or somewhere like a library etc. where you could take a leaf and ask? Or an Extension Office, usually in a city hall. I suppose it depends on how big your city is. Most of the smaller urban towns have them.

Thanks Jnette...
I will take a leafy to the extension office on Monday.
