We've had a pretty wet season here in North Dakota and I completely forgot about a Globemaster Allium I bought early in the spring. Figuring everything was lost, I just dumped the whole pot out onto my soil pile and hit it with a jet of water. Then I saw the two alliums did kinda survive, but 99% of their tunics had rotten and slid off in a gooey mess when I picked them up. So now they are missing their skin, but the flesh underneath looks good still. Are these salvageable at all?
Allium tunic rotted off!
I would try!
May be better than you think.
