i just thinned out my missouri primrose and potted a lot of the larger transplants. they look ok (but i just did this today), they are well watered and in shade to settle in. my question is should i cut the tops mostly off? removing the seed pod and some leaves and stem to encourage the plants to give more attention to the roots? they have nice roots and runners. thanks in advance for any assistance.
do you cut back when transplanting missouri primrose?
I posted this question in the wrong forum so reposted in Ask-a-Dave's Gardener. I don't see a way to delete from here.
