I direct seeded my cucs in a 20' row, that are being trained up a 6' trellis. (I have a raised bed which I have amazing soil, at an amazing and un needed depth) I am aware that you should thin out to approx. 12", but they appeared to be doing alright so I kept them pretty close. (about 6") I have planted many different varieties as well. Some are quite a bit larger than others, but are looking very healthy and many are starting to produce flowers. Should I thin out more, or keep as is? I want a abundant amount to harvest for my pickles. Any tips or tricks for a successful crop? Does any advise using 18-18-21 miracle grow?
Any advice is appreciated :)
